New, Landmark Collaboration Policy Among Municipalities in Winnebago County to be Recognized at Respective Councils/Boards of Local Governments

The new, landmark Regional Collaboration Policy signed by eight municipalities in Winnebago County will be recognized and presented to the elected councils and boards of local governments by the Rockford Area Economic Development Council on the following dates.

WHY
The Winnebago County Regional Collaboration Policy formalizes the agreement that the municipalities that invest in the RAEDC will continue to work together to retain and grow quality jobs. The municipalities meet quarterly to improve the region's competitiveness for jobs. The policy was announced at the RAEDC's annual meeting on December 2, 2009.
