ProLogis Signs Rochelle Deals

Industrial developer ProLogis leased 356,000 square feet to two food companies recently at its industrial park in Rochelle. San Francisco-based Del Monte Foods Co. leased 209,000 square feet at ProLogis Park Rochelle, about 75 miles west of Chicago. Meanwhile, Bay Valley Foods LLC leased 156,000 square feet, the Denver-based real estate investment trust says. Both tenants have moved into the space in Building One, which is 579,575 square feet and now fully leased, according to a ProLogis spokeswoman, who declines to disclose financial terms. Bay Valley, a private-label food supplier that’s part of Westchester-based TreeHouse Foods Inc., already occupies the park’s other building, a 600,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility. Lee & Associates of Illinois represented ProLogis in the deals. Chicago-based Lowenbaum REP Inc. represented Bay Valley.
