INVESTOR NEWS: Cliffbreakers’ Lexington Hotel Hires New Guest Services & Sales Staff

July 23, 2010, ROCKFORD, IL — Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort, the owner of Cliffbreakers and the Lexington Hotel at Cliffbreakers, added two new management-level staff.

Guest Service Manager Cyndy Lemke for Lexington Hotel is in charge of guest services, reservations and customer satisfaction. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel industry. Most recently she was with InterContinental Hotels Group as an area director and with the Sheraton World Resort in Orlando. “I am excited to be here at Rockford’s one-of-a-kind hotel,” she said.

The Lexington Hotel and Cliffbreakers’ new Director of Hotel Sales Darla Thomas brings nearly 10 years of experience in the hotel industry, as well as a background in insurance and sales. Thomas is a graduate of Dakota High School and a Rockford-area resident. “In today’s cookie-cutter world, many guests seek unique experiences and our themed guest rooms with antiques and architectural artifacts from around the world are quite an attraction,” stated Thomas.
