Since 1996, the Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC) has helped more than 1,600 manufacturers meet the challenges of foreign competition, consolidated supply chains, price reduction demands and many more.
Their team of experienced specialists provides hands-on help to enable manufacturers to streamline production, contain manufacturing costs, integrate advanced technology, and manage a profitable business.
As a non-profit organization, IMEC’s services are available to any manufacturer located in Illinois outside the Chicago Metro Area. Their principal market is manufacturers with fewer than 500 employees. Annually, IMEC provides assistance to more than 400 manufacturing companies.
