Rockford Area Economic Development Council Solutions Teams
The RAEDC board of directors created three solutions teams to help achieve the organization’s mission and goals. Committee contributions are extremely helpful, as investors advise from their unique perspectives and broaden considerations about how to achieve goals. RAEDC investors are encouraged to serve on one of the following solutions teams. Volunteering through committee is a great way to get involved with the work of the organization and is recommended as a precursor to serving on the board of directors.

Business Retention & Expansion Solutions Team
This committee’s focuses are:
- Voice of the Customer surveys
- New growth opportunities for local industry
- Robust entrepreneurial environment
- Workforce Development
Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:45 am in the first floor conference room at William Charles Ltd. (1401 North Second Street, Rockford). The chairman of this committee is Gary Marzorati, who is the President of William Charles Waste Companies. The staff liaison is Mark Podemski.

Business Attraction Solutions Team
This committee’s focuses are:
- International Business Development Relations
- Ground Development Opportunities
- Regional Economic Development Partnerships
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the lower level conference room at JP Morgan Chase (6000 East State Street, Rockford). The chairman is Frank Walter, who is the Regional President of JP Morgan Chase. The staff liaison is Eric Voyles.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm at the RAEDC (100 Park Avenue, Suite 100, Rockford). The chairman is Linda Gerber, who is CEO of the Rock River Valley Blood Center. The staff liaison is Tonya Lamia.
