Board of Directors The Rockford Area Economic Development Council Board of Directors consists of up to 49 Voting Directors plus six Officers. By working directly with RAEDC investors, allies, and staff, Board members provide leadership and broaden considerations about how the RAEDC will achieve its missions and goals. The Board approves employment of a President and approves the annual budget, capital expenditures, and contracts in excess of a two-year-duration or $10,000. The term of office for elected Directors is three years. The term of office for Ex-Officio Voting and Ex-Officio Nonvoting Directors is one year. Any vacancy occurring in the Board of Directors may be filled by election by the Board.
