GO GLOBAL OR GET LEFT BEHIND! Workshop May 13-14
The international marketplace is more than five times larger than the market in the United States. Only 3 of 10 Small- and Medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) export, and furthermore, gross domestic product rates in many emerging countries far exceed domestic growth in our nation’s mature economy.
Although opportunities to profit through trade are considerable, not all companies are adequately positioned to become successful exporters or importers.
The seminar will explore your options and walk through the process of launching into the global market while identifying the various sources of trade assistance available along the way.
Why attend?
The seminar features global trade specialists with expertise in business planning, developing results-oriented market-entry strategies, obtaining trade finance, managing risk, navigating customs rules and regulation, and effectively communicating across international borders. The seminar will include examples of local and regional firms experience overseas. They will share their firsthand insights about the challenges and opportunities of going global.
Speakers will also provide a roadmap on how you can increase sales through exporting and importing, establishing joint-ventures, or strategic alliances, entering into technology licensing agreements, finding reputable foreign sales representatives, and/or engaging in mergers or acquisitions.
